How to set up Vuh-do Empty How to set up Vuh-do

I've heard so many nice things about this add-on and now that I've found this guide, I'm gonna try setting it up (again....didn't manage at my first attemtps, very big and complicated healing-tool Neutral )
The guide seems easy to understand, so here goes for everybody interested:

You'll find Vuhdo much easier to setup than Grid and Clique, and the default configuration is almost enough to get started ... If I recall correctly, all I did was change the default spell binds to the ones I'm used to, and then some fine tuning to the interface (the way it displays buffs and debuffs, HoTs, frame size and alignment when in raid group, etc.)..

I have had a few problems but have managed and I think I'll like it too.

I did find one problem yesterday while healing though: Sometimes I couldn't cast a spell severel times fast after each cooldown, but had to pick another spell before casting the first spell again. A little difficult to explain, but highly annoying and repairheavy problem to discover in ToC Neutral
Ever heard of something like that?

I've had a similar problem (mostly unresponsive spells, or just Vuhdo picking his own spells to cast) when I started messing up with Smart Cast settings. While this is an interesting option (basically, it makes Vuhdo choose the appropriate spell to use based on context : buff / de-curse / activate trinket, etc., regardless of the spell you wanted to use), it made my addon go berserk and fire my GCD at weird moments, locking some healing spells at times, and auto-activating the PVP trinket with no apparent reason. I'm pretty sure that you won't have any problem if you just deactivate Smart Cast.

The smart-cast seemed too complicated, so I think I've disabled that allready, but I'll have a look at that again.
Not being able to get a flash-heal off can be a little frightening Shocked

I checked the menu in-game, and it wasn't Smart Cast, it was an option called Auto Trigger. Got confused, i actually have Smart Cast on and that one turned off. It's under Spells -> Misc -> Auto Trigger. Hope this helps, can't think of anything else causing this ...
